Product Overview

Chrysler / Plymouth Prowler is a subcompact convertible in production from 1997 to 2002. It was powered by naturally-aspirated V6 engine that displaced 3.5 liters paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Introduced at a time when Chrysler experimented with new decide concepts, the Prowler has a retro styling that harkens back to the hot rods of the 1930s. However, it only has a V6 under its hood, ostensibly to keep the cost down. A side benefit is that the car is rather light, which helped handling.
Utility-minded owners will likely need to keep an alternative for hauling things around, as the tiny cargo space is almost surely insufficient.
