Product Overview

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider (Type 960) is a subcompact convertible sports car in production from 2015 to 2020. It was powered by a tiny turbocharged inline-4 engine that displaced 1.75 liters paired to a 6-speed DCT.
A small mid-engine sports car, the 4C Spider is a giant departure from the 8C Spider and is not considered a real successor. It is based on the 4C coupe.
The tiny 1.75T engine is a high-strung one, and the car's DCT uses dual dry clutches. This setup should immediately raise alarm over the 4C Spider's long-term reliability.
Utility-minded owners will likely need to keep an alternative for hauling things around, as the tiny cargo space is almost surely insufficient.

Reviewer score 48%
Reviewers from carwow have found the following***:
The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is the small mid-engined open-top of your dreams. A big turbocharger helps get 237hp, and as a result, the Alfa accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds and won't stop until it reaches 160mph. With the roof on, the amount of wind and road noise is good for what is a small, lightweight sports car.
