Product Overview
Bentley Azure Mk1 is a full-size luxury convertible in production from 1995 to 2003. It was powered by a single turbocharged V8 engine that displaced 6.75 liters paired to GM-sourced 4L80E transmission.
Essentially the soft-top version of the Continental R, the Mk1 Azure shares the platform of the original Bentley Brooklands. Its Rolls-Royce equivalent is the Corniche.
One of the most expensive and exclusive convertibles on the market when it was introduced, the Azure was the epitome of luxury. It had more customizable options than the production number, and the materials used were of a class above the rest. Still, one must not overlook the ageing basic platform on which it was built: The car was not particularly reliable, and it certainly wasn't efficient (but who cares).
Drivers who appreciate comfort will be pleased to know that the Bentley Azure comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners.
