Product Overview

Lexus IS C is a compact executive convertible in production from 2008 to 2013. It was available with a range of V6 engines that displaced 2.5 to 3.5 liters. The IS 250 C also had optional AWD.

Based on the Mk2 Lexus IS sedan, the IS C has a hard top. It is very well built and has proven rather reliable. To the Lexus corporate, it was intended as a replacement for the SC430, which at the point of its launch was long in the tooth.

Overall, the more compact chassis offered improved handling characteristics, while the newer engine, particularly in the IS 350 C guise, is decent.
