Product Overview

Ferrari F12 (Type F152) is a high-performance luxury mid-size coupe in production from 2012 to 2017. It was powered by a naturally-aspirated Ferrari F140 V12 engine that displaced 6.3 liters paired to a 7-speed DCT transmission.
Compared to the 599 that preceded it, the F12 has a much more elegant styling. While it uses an evolution of the same engine, the F12 is markedly more powerful, so much so that it can be twitchy to drive if one is not used to its output level. Unfortunately, Ferrari's iconic gated manual transmission was no longer offered.

Reviewer score 98%
Reviewers from carmagazine have found the following***:
The F12 tdf is the fastest road car from Maranello this side of a LaFerrari. The side profile is completely unique, thanks to a shorter rear quarter window and different rear screen rake. A combination of 115kg less kerb weight, shorter gear ratios and a V12 pumped up from 730bhp to an absurd 769bhp help the tdf to 62mph in 2.9sec.

Pros
  • Brilliant V12 engine
  • Fantastic performance
  • Superb rear-end bite
Cons
  • Not as fast as a regular F12
