Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe C217 is a flagship full-size luxury coupe in production from 2014 to 2017. It was available with a range of inline-6, V8, and V12 engines that displaced 3.0 to 6.0 liters.
The successor to the C216 CL-Class, the C217 S-Class Coupe has an exceptionally elegant styling, though it has lost the unmistakable je-ne-sais-quoi of the CL. Powertrain-wise, the C217 has essentially the same V8s of the facelifted C216 CL. The V12 has been updated with individual ignition coils for each cylinder, making it ironically cheaper to maintain. New is an I6-powered S400 4MATIC, which is an unfortunate cheapening of the car, even though the M256 is a good engine.
Unlike the previous two generations of CLs, the C217 S-Class Coupe has an upgraded MBC active hydraulic suspension system that superseded the ABC. This system adds a set of front-facing cameras to adjust the suspension system before tires come into contact with the road surface.
