Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CL-Class C215 facelift is a flagship full-size luxury coupe in production from 2002 to 2006. It was available with a range of V8 and V12 engines that displaced 5.0 to 6.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift C215, the facelift introduced a range of drivetrain upgrades as well as solid cosmetic updates: The CL55 AMG gained a screw-type supercharger and became much more torquey and powerful. Mercedes quickly retired the M137 engine and replaced it with the M275 V12. Hence, both the CL600 and the CL65 AMG became vastly more powerful while being reasonably reliable. The CL65 AMG in particular is arguably the best AMG car with a V12.
Cosmetically, the headlights and the body kits were upgraded with excellent results.
