Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLS C218 facelift is an executive sedan in production from 2014 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.1 to 5.5 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift C218, the facelifted model is equally disappointing. It received marginal styling "updates" but no update in the drivetrain except the introduction of 9G TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. This is admittedly a notable improvement, as the 7G TRONIC never worked as intended.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Mercedes-Benz CLS coupe uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
