Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLS C218 is an executive sedan in production from 2011 to 2014, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4, V8, and V6 engines that displaced 2.1 to 5.5 liters.
Compared to the C219 CLS that preceded it, the C218 is markedly uglier. It embarked on the path of devolvement to the ugly hunchback sedan. Powertrain-wise, things are not great, either: A lot of 4MATIC AWD nonsense started to permeate the lineup, while tiny diesels became popular.
