Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLS C219 facelift is an executive sedan in production from 2008 to 2010. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 6.2 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift C219 CLS, the facelifted model introduced marginal tweaks that are negligible. A couple of engine changes, however, were introduced. Notably, the CLS 350 had direct injection added, which did not help with reliability; the CLS 63 AMG replaced the supercharged CLS 55 AMG: the new M156 engine is more characterful but less torquey and less reliable.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Mercedes-Benz CLS comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
