Product Overview

Cadillac XLR is a mid-size luxury roadster in production from 2003 to 2009. It was available with a couple of V8 engines that displaced 4.4 to 4.6 liters.
Perceived by many as the convertible Corvette, the XLR actually uses DOHC Northstar engines rather than pushrod LS engines. Hence, the relation between the XLR and the Corvette is a far-fetched one.
Still, as Cadillac's flagship vehicle, the XLR featured GM's premium Magnetic Ride Control. With rear-mounted transmission, the XLR also has a well-balanced weight distribution.
Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 328L (12cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.
