Product Overview

Lexus RC (chassis code XC10) is a compact executive coupe in production from 2014 to 2018, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 5.0 liters.
Combining elements of the Lexus GS and IS, the RC has a very sporty exterior design. While many have doubts about the spindle grille, this fascia fits the RC exceptionally well. As usual, the RC is available with a range of highly reliable engines, the most attractive among which is the 2UR-GSE in the RC F.
Lexus has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Lexus RC comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Combined with RWD, this setup provides one of the best handling characteristics and tuning capabilities. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.

Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The RC F is the first performance car from Lexus since the incredible LFA supercar. It bucks the current turbo trend with a traditional naturally aspirated V8. But has it got the goods to outmuscle BMW's M4? It's based on the RC coupe which US dealers get very soon, but which we won't get in the UK until next year.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Lots of fun to drive
Cons
  • Fiddly infotainment system
  • Not as fast as the M4
