Product Overview

Toyota Highlander (chassis code XU20) is a mid-size crossover in production from 2000 to 2007. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.4 to 3.3 liters.
One of Toyota's early crossovers, it is the sister model of the Lexus RX / Toyota Harrier. Toyota equipped the Highlander with a clean exterior styling and reliable, reasonably potent drivetrain. It was also one of the earliest crossovers to receive a hybrid drivetrain.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Toyota Highlander is hardly an "offroader".
