Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz GL-Class X166 is a full-size crossover in production from 2012 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift and became the GLS. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 5.5 liters.
Compared to the X164 GL, the X166 received a much more coherent exterior styling. Mercedes also introduced an all-turbo engine lineup, which in this case has proven to be reasonably reliable. Obviously, the most exciting option is the GL63 AMG with the M157 V8.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Mercedes-Benz GL X166 comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear.
