Product Overview

Chevrolet Equinox Mk1 is a mid-size crossover in production from 2005 to 2009. It was available with a single naturally-aspirated V6 petrol engine that displaced 3.4 liters. GM also sold the vehicle as Pontiac Torrent, which also had access to the 3.6L LY7 engine towards the very end of the production run.
Just most crossovers of the period, the Equinox is very ugly. It offers decent interior space, though a wagon of yesteryear could do better with more comfort and better handling.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Chevrolet Equinox is hardly the "offroader" that Chevrolet would like you to think.
