Product Overview

BMW X5 E70 is a mid-size crossover in production from 2007 to 2010, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 4.8 liters.
Compared to the E53 X5, the E70 introduced a range of new N52 petrol engine, which has proven to be one of the only reliable engines from BMW in the last two decades. The V8 was still the N62.
Styling-wise, the E70 is a notable improvement over the E53, though the X5 didn't gain much in terms of capabilities.
