Product Overview

BMW X6 M F86 is the high-performance version of BMW's uglified X6 mid-size crossover. It was in production from 2015 to 2018, powered by an S63B44T2 hot-V bi-turbo V8 engine that displaced 4.4 liters.
Like the F85 X5 M, the F86 uses the updated version of the S63 engine. BMW promises improvements that have made the engine more reliable, though time has shown that the flawed hot-V concept remains troublesome.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the BMW X6 M is hardly the "offroader" that BMW would like you to think. Owners may find that at speed the vehicle consumes a lot more than the numbers indicate, thanks to a disappointing 0.37 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the BMW X6 M (F86) comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear.
