Volkswagen Touareg 2 (Typ 7P) is a luxury mid-size crossover in production from 2010 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 4.2 liters.
Unfortunately, the Mk2 Touareg lost the more interesting engine options, though VW did add a V8 TDI model that is perhaps the most drivable. Another let-down is the fact that the vehicle has a less bold exterior design. Overall, therefore, it is indeed a regression rather than a progress.
