Product Overview

Acura MDX 2 (chassis code YD2) is a large crossover in production from 2007 to 2013. It was available with a single J37 V6 engine that displaced 3.7 liters.
In the beginning of the production run, the Mk2 MDX used the same 5-speed automatic transmission found in its predecessor, while the facelifted model received a new 6-speed unit. Unfortunately, the latter has proven to be less robust.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Acura MDX II is hardly the "offroader" that Acura would like you to think. It is akin to a large station wagon with exaggerated wheels.
