Product Overview
Volkswagen Routan is a full-size minivan in production from 2008 to 2013. It was available with a range of V6 engines that displaced 3.6 to 4.0 liters. Essentially, it is a rebadged Chrysler Grand Voyager / Town & Country.
As such, the Routan has the same chassis and drivetrain setup as the latter. Overall, the engines have proven themselves decent, though the transmission was dated and the suspension rather basic.
Utility-minded owners will love the high 4100L (145cu-ft) of cargo space. The sliding rear doors are quite useful, too.
