Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6x6 (chassis code W463) is a full-size luxury pickup in production from 2013 to 2015. It was powered by a bi-turbocharged V8 engine that displaced 5.5 liters.

Based on the W463 G-Class, the 6x6 uniquely features a 6-wheel drive system with four differential lockers. It uses portal axles that greatly improve ground clearance. Overall, the G-Class 6x6 offers one of the best offroad capabilities ever found in a production vehicle. It is competitive in this regard even over many military vehicles.

On the downside, the 6x6 is extremely thirsty, which works against real-world offroading. It is also extremely flashy.
