Cadillac Escalade 3 EXT (chassis code GMT946) is a full-size luxury pickup in production from 2007 to 2013. It was powered by a small block V8 engines that displaced 6.2 liters paired to a new 6-speed automatic transmission.
Compared to the Mk2 Escalade EXT, the Mk3 has fully independent suspensions, which improve ride comfort but sacrifices durability. The vehicle is now notably more powerful, while the 6.2 LS engine is also more efficient.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, will appreciate the extraordinary approach and departure angles that the chassis offers. With a 14.5L/100km (16.2mpg) fuel "dis-economy", owners have to be prepared to pay for their "smiles-per-mile". Another negative is the large 13.1m (43.0ft) turning circle.
