Product Overview

Infiniti FX Mk2 (chassis code S51) is a mid-size crossover in production from 2008 to 2013, whereupon it was rebadged as QX70. It was available with two engines, a 3.5L V6 and a 5.0L V8.
Compared to the Mk1 FX, the S51 model is notably more handsome. Infiniti seems to have obtained a magic formula for designing mid-size crossovers (or perhaps it was just luck), even though Nissan evidently hasn't.
Evolutions of the V6 and V8 naturally-aspirated engines found in the S50 model can be found here, with a more advanced 7-speed automatic transmission taking over. AWD is now standard.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Infiniti FX II comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear.
