Product Overview

Infiniti FX (chassis code S50) is a mid-size crossover in production from 2003 to 2008. It was available with a V6 and a V8 engine that displaced 3.5 and 4.5 liters respectively.
Interestingly, Infiniti was kind enough to offer the Mk1 FX35 in RWD guise, knowing that suburban moms have no need for AWD. It was one of the few premium crossovers to do so. The two engines available are both rather good, though the 5-speed automatic transmission didn't perform that well.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Infiniti FX uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
