Product Overview

Alpina B5 Touring F11 is a high-performance executive station wagon in production from 2011 to 2017. It was powered by a modified N63B44 4.4L bi-turbocharged V8 engine. Based on the F11 BMW 550i, the F11 B5 Touring features larger turbochargers, reinforced heads, and strengthened bottom end. The same engine can also be found in the F10 B5 and F01/F02 sedans.
For this generation, BMW finally brought out double-wishbone front suspensions. This in theory should improve the handling capabilities of the B5 Touring; however, BMW also greatly enlarged the vehicle over two generations, leading to a much larger vehicle compared to the E39.
For the LCI (facelift) model, Alpina further increased the output of the engine, resulting in over 10% of power increase.
A special edition of the F10 B5 was the Edition 50 to celebrate the brand's 50th anniversary.
