Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz R-Class W251 is a full-size minivan in production from 2005 to 2010, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 6.2 liters.
Unlike other premium minivans, however, the W251 R-Class doesn't have sliding rear doors. It also has a more limited interior space. On the other hand, the W251 has a number of high-performance engines available, and its suspension setup is superior to the average minivan.
All these made the W251 a unique vehicle, most notably in the R63 AMG guise. Unfortunately, the V8 models are all AWD.
A LWB version of the W251 R-Class has chassis code V251 per standard Mercedes practice.
