Product Overview

Maserati Quattroporte 5 (chassis code M139) is a full-size luxury sedan in production from 2003 to 2012. It was available with a range of naturally-aspirated V8 engines that displaced 4.2 to 4.7 liters.
The Panamera before there was a Panamera, the Gen5 Quattroporte featured arguably the world's most beautiful design for a sedan ever. This masterpiece of Pininfarina came exclusively with the Ferrairi-Maserati F136 flag-plane V8 engine that comparted the character of an exotic car.
Initially, an automated manual transmission, DuoSelect was offered. Many owners found the transmission too abrupt and un-automatic-like. Since 2007, a ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission was fitted to resolve this issue.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Quattroporte V comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners. This provides the good cornering performance and durability, though multi-link tends to be more tunable.
