Product Overview

Dodge Charger 6 (chassis code LX) is a full-size sedan in production from 2006 to 2010. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 2.7 to 6.1 liters.
Since the 1990s, the Dodge brand had been ignored by Chrysler. Under the new ownership, however, the Gen6 Charger was developed. It brought back the formula that made many classic American cars successful: large displacement engines in the front, power to the rear wheels, and automatic transmission in the middle.
As this was also the point when Chrysler started to reemphasize performance, the Charger also received a high-performance version, the SRT-8.
Still, drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Dodge Charger VI (LX) uses MacPherson front suspension, which hints at some cost management.
