Product Overview

Chrysler 300 II (chassis code LD) is a full-size sedan in production from 2011 to 2014. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.6 to 6.4 liters.
Building on the success of the LX 300, Chrysler updated it in all the right directions. The LD Chrysler 300 has a further improved front and rear end as well as a gorgeous profile. One could say that the car doesn't have any bad angle.
Engine-wise, Chrysler used its new Pentastar V6s with the Hemi V8s. The larger engines still used 5G-Tronic (NAG1) from Mercedes, while the V6 did get ZF's 8HP45 8-speed automatic. An Italian V6 diesel was used for the European market, though that is hardly the right choice.
The LD 300 continued to used double-wishbone + multi-link suspensions for comfort and handling.
