Product Overview

Alpina B3 F30 is a high-performance compact executive sedan in production from 2013 to 2018. It was powered by a modified N55B30 bi-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine.
Up to 2017, the base F30 Alpina B3 was based on F30 BMW 335i. The vehicle received the classic "Alpina treatment" with a wide range of powertrain and cosmetic upgrades. From 2017, the B3 S was based on F30 BMW 340i. Both were available in RWD and AWD guises.
Compared to the F80 BMW M3 of the time, the B3 was slightly down on power; the B3 S was more powerful than the standard M3 but less so than the M3 Competition. Alpina set the B3 apart by orienting it for touring with a smoother torque converter automatic transmission and optional AWD.
