Alpina D3 F30 is a high-performance compact executive sedan in production from 2013 to 2018. It was powered by a modified N57B30 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo-diesel engine paired to an 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission.
The F30 Alpina D3 is based on the F30 BMW 330d, though its modified N57 engine came from the 335d. The same engine could be found in the F10 Alpina D5.
As the F30 3 Series continued to use MacPherson strut front suspensions, so did the D3.
A notable plus was the fact that BMW 335d was only available in xDrive (AWD form), while the F30 D3 was RWD.
