Product Overview
Alpina D5 F10 is an executive sedan in production from 2011 to 2016. It was available with a single modified N57D30 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo-diesel. Based on the F10 BMW 535d, the Alpina D5 F10 boasts performance levels of a "mini diesel M5".
From interior design to exterior styling, the F10 D5 is identical to the F10 Alpina B5. Far gone were the days when Alpina bored the blocks of BMW engines for larger displacements. At this point, it was all about forced induction. Alpina replaced the single turbo from the N57 with a bi-turbo setup, which resulted in a notable power boost.
It should be noted, however, that BMW's own N57S tri-turbo variant was more powerful. It was fitted in F10 M550d xDrive.
