Product Overview

Lexus GS Mark III (chassis code S190) is an executive sedan in production from 2005 to 2011. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 4.6 liters.
During the production run of the Gen3 Lexus GS, there was a minor facelift, though the mechanical changes did not coincide with this event and the update was hardly noticeable without side-by-side comparison.
The more notable update was the discontinuation of 3UZ-FE-powered GS 430 in favor of the 3GR-FSE-powered GS 460. The direct-injected 4.6L V8 is the same engine powering the LS 460. Paired to an 8-speed automatic, it was the ultimate GS until the introduction of GS-F a few years later.
Lexus has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Lexus GS III comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Combined with RWD, this setup provides one of the best handling characteristics and tuning capabilities. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.
