Lexus ES 7 (XZ10)
Mid-Size SedanProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Lexus ES Mark VII (chassis code XZ10) is a mid-size sedan in production from 2018 to 2021, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.5 to 3.5 liters.
Engine-wise, the Gen7 Lexus ES is very similar to the Gen6 ES. However, the engine codes are different, with increased output levels and decreased emission and fuel consumption.
The more notable changes are on the transmission side. The ES 350 and ES 250 now sport an 8-speed automatic, while a conventional CVT became available for the ES 200. The hybrid ES 300h continued to use e-CVT.
The most dramatic change is the styling of the vehicle. Indeed, the new ES is from many angles rather similar to the Gen5 Lexus LS. With a bit of refinement, the car is beginning to look fine again, even though it clearly is still over-styled.
