Product Overview

Lexus ES Mark VI (chassis code XV60) is a mid-size sedan in production from 2012 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of V6 and an inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
The NA V6 engine paired to 6-speed automatic is found in the ES 350, which is the exact same powertrain found in the Gen5 Lexus ES.
The most available I4 engine is one running the Atkinson cycle and is found in the ES 300h hybrid. Two other I4s were available in select markets as ES 200 and ES 250.
Styling-wise, this generation of ES is arguably the more successful in the history of FWD Lexi. Notably, a more restrained version of the "spindle grille" can be found at the front, but it didn't reach the exaggerated proportions that some find repulsive.
Lexus has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. Lexus continued to use MacPherson strut front suspensions.
The XV60 Lexus ES is again rather similar to the XV50 Toyota Camry, although the chasses are different.
