Product Overview

Lexus ES Mark III (chassis code XV20) is a mid-size sedan in production from 1997 to 2001. It was available with two V6 engines that displaced 2.5 and 3.0 liters respectively. The 3.0L version is more widely available internationally as ES 300. In Japan, it was sold as Toyota Windom.
Even though the ES 300 bore the Lexus badge, it was hardly a luxury vehicle, sharing its chassis ultimately with the XV20 Toyota Camry. Still, it was assembled exclusively in Japan.
With the 1MZ-FE V6 engine paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission, the Gen3 ES 300 was exceptionally reliable.
