Toyota Crown 13 (code S200) is an executive sedan in production from 2008 to 2012. It was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 2.5 to 4.6 liters.
Still assembled in Japan for the global market, the Gen13 Toyota Crown shares many elements with the S190 Lexus GS and is arguably a more refined vehicle; it certainly has that classic elegance that is lost on many sedans of this century, notably the Germans.
Drivetrain-wise, Toyota endowed the S200 Crown with roughly the same options found on the S190 GS, including a hybrid vehicle and one with the 1UR-FSE 4.6L V8.
Like before, the Crown is sold in two styles: the Crown Royal that is more elegant, and the Crown Athlete that is sportier.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Toyota Crown 13 (S200) comes with double-wishbone + multi-link suspensions setup. This provides close to the best cornering performance and tunability. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.
