Product Overview

Toyota Crown 12 (code S180) is an executive sedan in production from 2003 to 2008. It was available with a range of V6 engines that displaced 2.5 to 3.5 liters.
Unfortunately, Toyota moved away from inline-6 engines completely from this generation. Even though the newer V6s, notably the 2GR-FSE, have proven to be exceptionally reliable and deliver good power levels, in enthusiasts' minds the loss of Toyota I6 was a tragedy in the automotive industry.
As before, the Gen12 Crown was a global car assembled primarily in Japan. It was sold with two styles, the more elegant Crown Royal and as the more sporty Crown Athlete.
The vehicle received an updated in 2005, introducing the 6-speed automatic transmission to more models, though the higher-end models started out with the 5-speed.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the S180 Crown comes with double-wishbone + multi-link suspension setup. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.
