Product Overview

Toyota Avalon 3 (code XX30) facelift is a mid-size sedan in production from 2007 to 2012. It was available with a single 3.5L naturally-aspirated V6 engine (2GR-FE). Compared to the pre-facelift model, the most notable update is the new 6-speed U660E automatic transmission that replaced the 5-speed unit.
At the same time, Toyota made a lot of effort to make the FWD family sedan appear less boring, with varying success from different angles. The vehicle received a further facelift in 2010 for the 2011 model year with some cosmetic changes but no mechanical update.
Toyota has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it, a slight improvement over the pre-facelift.
