Product Overview

Toyota Avalon 3 (code XX30) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2004 to 2006, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a single 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 engines that has proven to be an exceptionally reliable motor.
The engine output was initially advertised as 280hp. As SAE changed its testing procedure, this number was downgraded to 268hp, even though nothing changed.
This generation brought significant increase in interior space. The vehicle also received more modern exterior styling.
The pre-facelift Gen3 Avalon used a 5-speed automatic transmission to send power only to the front wheels. It was assembled in the US primarily for the US market.
Toyota has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.29 coefficient of drag to show for it.
