Product Overview

Toyota Avalon 2 (code XX20) is an affordable large sedan in production from 1999 to 2004. It was also called Toyota Pronard in the Japanese market. It was available with the same 3.0L naturally-aspirated V6 engine found in the original Avalon and the same Aisin 4-speed automatic transaxle. Like the Gen1 Avalon, the XX20 Avalon was assembly primarily in the US.
In most regards, the Mark 2 Avalon was an exercise in restyling, though many today may find the original better looking.
