Product Overview

Nissan Teana (code J31) is a large sedan in production from 2003 to 2008. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
On the plus side, the J31 Teana was handsomely styled. Its range of naturally-aspirated engines are rather reliable, especially the 3.5-liter VQ35DE engine. The interior of the car was also rather well appointed.
However, these otherwise good engines were paired with a rather lethargic 4-speed automatic transmission to drive the front wheels. Nissan also did not pay much attention to the handling characteristics of the car, which was to be expected.
