Nissan Maxima 8 (code A36) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2015. It is available with a single naturally-aspirated V6 engine that displaced 3.5 liters.
Compared to Gen6 and Gen7 Maxima, the new model is dramatically re-styled. Now, it has a much more athletic, compelling body design. However, it still uses the venerable VQ35DE naturally-aspirated V6 engine.
On the one hand, this engine has proven to be one of the more reliable and robust unit by Nissan. On the other hand, it may appear somewhat limited in terms of power delivery. Buyers at this point are also wary of the CVT.
