Product Overview

Nissan Maxima 7 (code A35) is an affordable sedan in production from 2008 to 2014. It was available with a simple naturally-aspirated V6 engine that displaced 3.5 liters.
In many respects, the Gen7 Maxima is just a facelift of the Maxima 6 with lots of exterior styling updates. More fundamentally, however, the same V6 engine is used, albeit now with 290hp.
Another unfortunate choice is the exclusivity that Nissan has given to the CVT, which has since proven to be a liability in terms of long-term reliability.
The Gen7 Maxima also still uses MacPherson strut, which isn't what enthusiasts would want.
