Product Overview

BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo F07 is a curious variant of the F10 5 Series executive sedan in production from 2009 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It is available with a range of inline-4, inline-6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 4.4 liters.
Owners will probably gravitate towards the powerful V8, though the N63 at this stage was not really reliable and should be avoided. Unfortunately, this was the first days of BMW's drive towards turbocharging and direct injection, and no engine from this era could remotely be considered reliable.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the 5 Series Gran Turismo F07 comes with double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspensions. However, the curious design of this vehicle clearly has little to do with any sporting pretense, and manual transmission has disappeared.
