Product Overview

Bentley Flying Spur II is full-size luxury sedan in production from 2013 to 2019. It is available with twin-turbocharged V8 and W12 engines that displace from 4.0L to 6.0L.
Owners will probably enjoy the powerful W12 in the W12 S the most. In fact, for the latter half of its life cycle, the Flying Spur W12 S was the only sedan powered by a W12 engine on the market. Originally introduced by VW to fit into the D2 A8's small engine bay intended to fit a V8, this iteration of W12 engine, aided by two turbos, was able to release up to 635 hp.
Bentley has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Bentley Flying Spur II comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. However, the vehicle still suffers from poor weight distribution.

    Reviewers from autocar have found:
The Flying Spur bears a strong resemblance to the recently launched and much lauded Continental GT. It’s a handsome beast. More haunchy than the outgoing car and with better-defined muscles front and rear to match its extra performance. It rolls on either 21- or 22-inch wheels (smaller previously) and the design especially benefits from the fact that the new package has moved the front wheels six inches forward.

    Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Flying Spur takes the now familiar four-headlamp front end and adds a new, Marmite-rear with its trapezoidal tail lamps. The cabin itself is beautiful: rich, dark wood, chrome details on every vent, switch, handle and ridge, with cream quilted leather on the seats. While lovely, the cabin's hardly seductive or as sumptuous as the £150k base price would have you think.
    Pros
    • Gorgeous interior
    • Impressive handling
    Cons
    • Slightly clunky steering
    • Ungainly shift paddles
