Product Overview

Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a full-size luxury sedan in production from 2005 to 2013. It is available with two turbocharged W12 engines that displaces 6.0L.
Sharing its platform with the VW Phaeton and the Continental GT (D1), it was a derivative of the Audi D2 platform and was developed alongside the newer Audi D3. While today the Flying Spur has supplanted the legacy Mulsanne as the firm's new flagship, at its introduction it was an "affordable" model.
Limited by the front-heavy AWD layout (with engine and torque converter in front of the front axle), the Continental Flying Spur had poorer handling than one would expect, though many simply purchased the vehicle as a chauffeur-driven car. The turbocharged W12 was the most powerful available from VW at the time.
