Product Overview

Nikon Coolpix W300 is an affordable 1/2.3" compact camera. Introduced by Nikon in 2017, it comes with a 1/2.3" sensor with 16 MP (4608 x 3456) resolution.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the Coolpix W300 has a 125 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. The Nikon Coolpix W300's 7.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The Nikon Coolpix W300 comes with a built-in GPS. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.

Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
Snapbridge gives you the option of automatically downsampling images to 2 Megapixel resolution before downloading them to your phone. You can zoom the lens using touch buttons on your phone display, though it’s slow and a little clunky and you can activate a self-timer mode. Easy panorama mode has two resolution options: Normal captures 180 degree photos with a maximum size of 1536×4800 pixels, while Wide captures 360 degree shots at 1536–9600. There are 18 modes in all on the scene mode menu.
Pros
  • Great all-round performer
  • Excellent image quality
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slow to transfer photos
  • Limited AF area
