Product Overview

Canon PowerShot G5 X is a 1″ compact camera. Introduced by Canon in 2015, it comes with a 1" sensor with 20 MP (5472 x 3648) resolution and a 2.36 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the PowerShot G5 X has a 125 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. The G5 X's 5.9 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The PowerShot G5 X comes with a fully articulated touch display. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
