Product Overview

Canon PowerShot G3 X is a 1″ compact camera with a large zoom range. Introduced by Canon in 2015, it comes with a 1" sensor with 20 MP (5472 x 3648) resolution.

The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the PowerShot G3 X has a 125 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. The G3 X's 5.9 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.

The PowerShot G3 X comes with 31 autofocus points. Canon has endowed this compact camera with a 25x zoom lens, which can be quite useful for travels. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
